What makes The Lakeside Village unique in its approach to
senior living? Are pets allowed?

What makes The Lakeside Village unique in its
approach to senior living?
The Lakeside Village offers mature adults a pleasant community to live
in as provide a wide variety of facilities and services. The Lakeside
Village offers three types of senior housing: independent living, assisted
living and memory care.
What happens if I am in an independent apartment
and need assistance?
The Lakeside Village was designed to allow you to remain active and
social in all aspects of life. All apartments except for the memory
care units can be used for independent living or assisted living. If
you are in an independent apartment and need more assistance in the
future you do not have to move.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, but only small dogs and cats will be allowed. There will be some
restrictions. A small deposit fee will be required.
What is Memory Care?
Memory care units have a controlled, structured environment within
the complex that will offer those struggling with memory problems a
welcoming, comfortable, and active environment. The memory care units
are grouped in two separate but connected areas to allow the best interaction
with other tenants and care by the nursing staff. The memory care units
have a private garden reserved for their use that is enclosed for their
safety. The two units are also secure so staff knows where the tenants
are at all times.
Tenants in the independent and assisted living apartments who begin
to require services provided by the staff in the memory care wing can
easily be moved to the that wing.
Do you offer buy-ins as well as rental?
Yes, we can arrange for your unit to be either a buy-in or a conventional
rental. All buy-ins will have a monthly common area maintenance (CAM)
charge. Please contact The Lakeside Village to learn more about both
of these options.
Please inquire about our rates and amenities for the prices of both
rental and buy-in based on the particular apartment style you choose.
What happens if I leave for more skilled care
and I had a buy-in?
When a tenant moves out The Lakeside Village will refund the entrance
fee according to an amortization table. Please refer to our agreement
for details.
Are visitors allowed?
Yes, visitors are welcome on a short term basis. We ask you to inform
administration when you are expecting visitors.
What other services are available?

Are meals available and what will be offered?
Three meals per day are included for those living in assisted living
or memory care. Independent tenants can purchase a meal package. The
menu will vary each day.
Will there be parking space provided
for my vehicle?
The Lakeside Village will offer a limited number of heated garage spaces.
The communal garages allow the tenant to park their vehicle and enter
the complex via an enclosed walkway. Outdoor parking is also available
free of charge.
Will you provide transportation?
The Lakeside Village will provide transportation for activity outings.
Weekly scheduled trips to the local pharmacy and local grocery store
for all assisted living apartments will be provided. Local physicians
also provide house calls by appointment.
Is the building secure and safe?
The building is a secure building that requires non-tenants to be let
into the facility by a residing tenant or a staff member.
All independent and assisted living tenants will be provided with a
pass code that will allow them unlimited access to the complex.
Are kitchens provided in the apartments?
All independent apartments offer a complete kitchen with stove and
oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal and kitchen
cabinets.
Assisted living apartments have a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator,
microwave, and cabinets.
Will we have phone and cable access?
We have an agreement with Panora Telco to provide phone and cable TV
services. You will be able to determine the level of services you wish
to have. The cost of the service will be billed separately by Panora
Telco.
Will we have internet access?
The entire complex will be equipped with high-speed wireless internet
access free of charge.
Where will I get my mail?
The complex will have a mail room located on the main floor. All mail
will be delivered and picked up by the US Postal Service.
Will there be laundry facilities located
in the building?
Each assisted living floor will offer a free washer and dryer in a
community space on that level. All independent living apartments will
have a stacked washer and dryer unit in their kitchen.
How are apartments protected against
fire?
The entire complex is protected with smoke detectors and a sprinkler
system.
Will electric carts and wheelchairs be acceptable to use in The Lakeside
Village?
Yes, all apartments are wheelchair accessible or can accommodate electric
carts and wheelchairs. A deposit is required for electric carts and
wheelchairs.
Will there be an emergency call system
at The Lakeside Village?
The Lakeside Village has a wireless call system available in each unit.
All assisted living tenants are provided with a panic button, similar
to Lifeline™, that connects directly to staff.
What are the requirements for admission
to The Lakeside Village?
Each resident must complete an admission application that includes
an overall assessment of the individual. A Living Unit Agreement would
then be completed and an application fee would be paid.
Will I have lake access and can I have
a boat?
Yes, you will have access to the lake. We also have a pontoon boat
located at the Port restaurant that can be utilized for you to go out
on the lake. The Lakeside Village will also organize free periodic pontoon
outings for our residents. As a renter/leaseholder, however, you will
not have the ability to put your own boat on the lake. The LPA Association
only allows land owners to have boats on the lake.
Do I have golf privileges at the Lake
Panorama National?
Yes, there will be golf privileges for tenants interested in playing
golf.
Do we have access to a pool and hot
tub?
Yes, you will have access to The Lakeside Inn’s outside pool
and hot tub that you will be welcome to use during its normal operating
hours.
How do I control the temperature in
my apartment?
Each apartment has its own heating and cooling controls.
